As we previously posted, the Air Jordan 3 Retro Black/Cement have dropped this Friday (Black Friday), and sold out in a flash. A very long awaited release, people were lining up outside of various shoe retailers to get their hands on a pair. People who missed out are now buzzing all over the net trying to get some of their own, to see the prices jacked up from the retail of $160 to well over $210. However, a lot of expectations have not been met by these shoes that were recently released to the masses. As it turns out, the quality has been VERY hit and miss.
For those of you who don’t believe it, Jordan Brand and Nike have really started to cut corners on their production of our favorite sneakers, and their Quality Control has been very questionable at the least. With the release of these 3′s, a top 5 Jordan shoe in most Jordan collectors, and a grail to some, just under a week of their release there have been several complaints about the quality.
Some of them came pre-creased. Some of the boxes tore apart as soon as consumer’s got home. And the worst one that I seen: one poor Jordan collector opened up his box to see that one shoe of his pair was the regular tumbled leather on the upper, while the other shoe was a smooth leather. How could this happen?

It’s such a bummer to see that some people who were really looking forward to this release had to end up with pairs like these. JB really needs to step up their quality! They have been increasing the prices for retro’s and decreasing the overall quality. So much for major retailers like Footlocker having only “A-Grades”. For those of you who missed out on getting a pair of these Black/Cements, Cali-Sole is working hard on getting some for you guys! So keep an eye out! And we PROMISE that you will not have to worry about getting “two different shoes in the same pair (see the tumbled leather and smooth leather shoes that came in the same pair above)”. Stay Cali y’all!
